Kelly Vaccarelli Biograpghy
Kelly devotes her attention to her primary passion – The power of raw living and healing foods, and spreading the word that people have the power to control their own health through their food choices.
Kelly’s mother, Carole introduced living foods to her as a young child; she recalls vividly being in 1st grade and eating sprouted nut and seed bread with raw nut butter for lunch, as other children ate PBJ on Wonder Bread. Kelly decided to become a vegetarian at the age of 5 when she learned that meat came from animals. Her mother introduced her to sacred places for healing and health, including the Creative Health Institute, Optimal Health Institute and the Ann Wigmore Institute.
Kelly’s Italian grandparents also knew the benefits of natural cures, for example by treating colds with simply raw garlic and onions. She also remembers picking fresh tomatoes, cucumber, peppers and zucchini from the family garden, and picking dandelion leaves from the lawn to eat for dinner. Her Grandfather taught her how to compost all the vegetable scraps into nutrients for the garden’s soil.
In 1994, Kelly’s father, Frank was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer and was given 6 months to live. At that moment, Kelly committed herself to learn all she could about natural remedies for curing cancer. And what she discovered was that the mother earth and the sun provide all that humans need for optimal health; provided specifically from live enzymes and chlorophyll obtained in living plants.
Frank Vaccarelli immediately went to Creative Health Institute and while there his diet was restricted to totally raw living juices and wheat grass juice. Juices are assimilated quickly as they are much more easily digested, allowing a body more energy to go towards healing. Frank was on the program for 2 months, and it saved his life. When he returned home he continued to eat 100% raw and dropped 40 pounds to a healthy weight of 185.
Frank returned to his oncologist after 6 months and had a cat scan done; the results were amazing! The tumors in his liver had shrunk considerably by more than 50%. He continued with his vegetarian and raw diet over 2 years, finally, he was diagnosed cancer free.
Kelly and her mother’s knowledge of the power of living foods were instrumental in Franks dramatic cure. It was a life lesson for Kelly and her family; she treated a thyroid condition using only living foods and natural remedies. Her oldest son, Chad decided to become an Osteopathic Medical Doctor due to his conviction in treating the whole person. He witnessed his grandfather, Frank's profound cancer cure and recovery, surviving 19 years, living to see him graduate from High School and College, being accepted into Medical School, now about to take his medical board exams Spring 2012.
Kelly’s desire is for everyone to be free from disease and to teach people how to have hope and regain their health and vitality. She has great respect for the work that the Ann Wigmore Institute (Puerto Rico) does. Kelly is especially, grateful to Lalita Salas and Leola Brooks (trained directly by Ann Wigmore) for all their wisdom, classes and unconditional love. Kelly is certified in Health and Healing from the Ann Wigmore Institute, Creative Health Institute, Optimal Health Institue and is a certified Theta Healer. She lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband, Mike and has 3 children, Chad, Kristina and Chase.
